hvidt & mølgaard exhibition
During my internship at ‚Deraum by Niemeyer‘ an exhibition about the Danish designer duo Hvidt & Mølgaard was developed. The aim was both to stage the exhibition and to design all the necessary advertising and communication materials.
The starting point for the design was the flyer, which was printed on laminated wood using a screen printing process. The material plywood is supposed to refer to the materiality of the furniture and its manufacturing. The design is simple, modern and modular, can be applied to a wide range of formats and thus picks up on the central design aspects of the Danish designer duo. The keyvisual is a simplified, graphic representation of the famous AX chair, whose workmanship was groundbreaking for modern Scandinavian design.
